To My Boy

<lj-embed id="1" />

Taken at Proud Gallery in Camden, on Friday night (11/05/07). Pull Tiger Tail were on after, but we were too knackered to stay. Pretty much just went to see To My Boy again. They gave us some super cute badges one each that say To, My and Boy. AWESOME.
I am totally addicted.

Also: "YOU ARE X-RAY!"

It's true

Flash Mob - Mobile Clubbing at Paddington Station 30 November 19:18

We arrived at the station at 7pm, and wandered around a bit, scoping out likely suspects who were planning to join in. It was surprisingly easy to spot the clubbers, it was like we were all sharing a big secret, exchanging grins and nervous laughter with strangers, readying our playlists. The anticipation was immense as the minutes got closer to 19:18 and the main floor of the station became increasingly crowded. Then at 10 seconds to there was a countdown and an enormous cheer as people starting grooving to their mp3 players. The commuters looked on with bemused smiles, and the photographers/media snapped as many people as they could. They seemed to love Panda! (my backpack)

Here's a video taken about 30 minutes into it (shaky, as I was still dancing):

I took my earphones out and stopped dancing at one point, just to look around and see what it was like from an outsider's perspective. Hundreds of people dancing to their mp3 players, in (almost) silence? Bizarre.

An incredibly fun, and surprisingly liberating night out!

Check out this site for future events, i'd definately recommend it!

Just found this!

I finished my collage!

It's a collection of all my old photos, some are from 7 years ago (i've known these people for 7 years?!?). It's going into a glass frame, and then onto my wall at uni as a way to remind me of all the freaks I've managed to escape from (love you really, guys!).

My favourite would have to be the one of Chux in the bunny ears with Nick, Gav dressing as Vanilla Ice, or Daisy wearing the elephant mask...

A pirate's life for me....

We once again felt the need to dress up as pirates whilst watching Pirates Of The Caribbean in the cinema. It's become a tradition now! Which means more excuses to dress as a pirate in the future. Excellent.

The film was good too, and even better the music is still stuck in my head, which makes everything I do (even walking to work) seem like an amazingly exciting adventure!

Oh, and everyone should definately go and see Dead Man's Chest (and dress as a pirate).

Goodbye Ottakar's...

Hello Waterstone's...

It's official, the HMV group have now bought out Ottakar's, and we are being re-branded as Waterstone's. They're coming to re-brand the Worthing store next month. No more Ottakar's, it's actually pretty sad :(

I now work for Waterstone's! It's strange, as up until this week they were the "enemy"! Haha.

Oh well, at least i get 3.3333333% more discount now... *rolls eyes*

No more A level Physics. EVER. It's a very strange (but extremely pleasent!) feeling. Had the last exam today, so that's it! NEVER AGAIN! God, what a relief. Just one more chem exam left and then i'm done. Roll on summer holidays.

Although the great feeling of never having to sit through another A level physics exam again is completely and utterly destroyed by the news that, yes, FONKY FAMILY have pulled out of Dour! I'm devestated, the festival will not be the same without them.

Not that i've ever heard Fonky Family before, but they have the BEST name on the whole lineup.

*sigh* Oh well, i'll just have to get over it I supose!

Unicycle Basketball anyone?
This is from the London adventure Mike and I had yesterday, taken in covent garden (where else?). The unicycle was taller than most of the crowd. Insane.

Had an extremely busy day, managed to do Camden and most of the Soho area plus in the evening saw volcano! at the Luminaire in Kilburn.

A great band, bloody crazy, but beautiful at the same time. Drummer constantly looks like he's in the middle of a seizure. Brilliant-ness.
Missed the end of the last song fue to having to catch trains, but saw "Easy does it", "Fire Fire" and "Apple or a gun" plus the lovely/disturbing singing/moaning at the beginning of "La Lluvia" before nabbing the setlist and making a mad dash to the tube station.

Excellent day! (and i didn't lose my voice once!)
